Since joining the firm in 2002, Anthony Montalto has led the design and management of numerous institutional science and technology/life science, higher education, commercial and healthcare projects. He has been critical in developing JB&B’s life science portfolio in New York, with projects that include the New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute, Deerfield at 345 Park Avenue South and Taconic’s 125 West End Avenue. This is in addition to the firm’s life science expansion into the Boston and Philadelphia areas. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been instrumental in the creation of innovative design strategies toward improving indoor air quality for occupant health and wellness. Mr. Montalto is co-chair of the NYC Builds Bio+ Regulatory Committee, has a longstanding association with Habitat for Humanity NYC, of which he is currently an executive board member, is a past president of ASHRAE NY and currently serves on its chapter board.
